USVI: Buller-man cop terrorising locals

ST. THOMAS - Virgin Islands Police Officer Loryiel "Lala" Charleswell - already under investigation for reports of behaving inappropriately with children, harassing a taxi driver who rebuked his sexual advances and threatening a Daily News reporter - has been accused of threatening to harm an on-duty V.I. Port Authority police officer.

According to the police blotter, Charleswell threatened to do bodily harm to Port Authority Officer Dion White in the terminal at King Airport at 2:20 p.m. Saturday.

White refused Monday to comment on the report. Port Authority officers referred all questions to the Public Affairs Department, which was closed for the Easter Monday holiday.

Charleswell, reached on duty at the police station Monday afternoon, denied that he had done anything improper. On Saturday, he said, White already had left the airport when Charleswell reported there for duty.

"It's strictly false," Charleswell said.
What Lala Charleswell needs is one good bull pistle. Whap! After he's finished making a high speed run around the island a few times, I bet he'd boil down like bhagi (spinach).
